Specification for architects', engineers' and surveyors' metric scale rules
This British Standard specifies the designation, shape and dimensions, scales and colour coding for scale rules for use with SI (metric) units. Offset scales are not covered by this standard.
NOTE 1: The recommended properties of materials used for the manufacture of metric scale rules are given in Appendix A.
