Specification for hospital bedside lockers. -- General purpose hospital bedside lockers of wooden construction
This Part of BS 1765 specifies requirements and test methods for general purpose hospital bedside lockers suitable for use by patients.
It also makes recommendations for the design of lockers and for information to be provided by a purchaser to a manufacturer.
It does not apply to lockers made of metal or lockers intended to accommodate day clothes.
NOTE 1: Lockers for accommodating day clothes are specified in BS 1765-2.
NOTE 2: The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.
