This standard addresses the development, verification, and management of algorithms used in digital retina systems (DRS) that implement IEEE Std 3161™-2022.
For these algorithms and model repositories, the standard defines:
IEEE Std 3161.5 provides a foundation for the reuse of algorithms from different vendors.
This standard enables algorithm interoperability among multi-source heterogeneous devices and assists the DRS in the collaboration of end, edge, and cloud devices as defined in IEEE Std 3161™-2022.
